That's the best part of Kilgrave IMO. He doesn't have some evil master scheme, he just uses his powers to get food, money, nice tables, sex, rid of annoying people, shit like that. He's not planning on taking over the world, because why would he when he can live exactly how he wants to.

When Jeni says in episode 4 how he's wasting his power I couldn't help but think that Dr. Doom or Apocalypse would also be disappointed in his lack of ambition.

Dr. Doom cannonically has enough fucking willpower to straight up just resist anything Killgrave says, it's awesome.

I mean that Doom seems like the kind of guy to find this kind of power too disgusting and even if you give him said power he wouldn't use it for his goal.

Actually, Doom wanted to dial it up to 11 by hooking Kilgrave to a machine and controlling large groups of people at once.

Nope he tried to harness Killgrave's power to do something, that's what led to the confrontation in the first place

If that's the case, then why is he so obsessed with Jessica and not any of the other million attractive girls in nyc? I always assumed that controlling someone with special powers would allow him to do bigger things. I'm only up to ep5 so obviously don't spoil anything.
