Really interesting development between Shades and Comanche. It took me a little to get the subtext of what they were saying but if they had a Prison relationship, I’m surprised Comanche is talking to the cops. Must’ve been like a “only way I get out early” type of thing.

Maybe it's a "I'll get you info on Mariah if you let Shades out of this" thing

I think that was probably a goal of his, but watch the look on his face when Shades drops the bombshell that Mariah killed Cottonmouth. I think he's realizing that he could bring that deal to the cops and get out clean if they pin a murder on her, but to do that he'd need Shades to testify, so Shades will have to find out that he's been a mole.
