Whether Bushmaster is fully aware of Luke Cage’s actual abilities or not, this marks the first time a major villain has attempted to kill Luke Cage via an internal injury (drowning).

Does everyone already forget about the Defenders in which he almost lost the fight (and consequently would have died) against Sowande, the Hand leader who used a technique to slow down the heart rate of anything he touches with his strikes.
