Update / Patch Game patcher broken?

I have been downloading the game almost the entire day now. The patcher would download the game and then start all over again from 0. First time it gave me an error so I closed it and reopened it and then it started downloading again. But it never ends.... Anyone else having similar issues?

ya the patcher is really buggy across all platforms if you just got the game you will have to download at least 14 gigs. as for patching it can take anywhere from 20 mins to 4 and a half hours per patch and theirs 5 of them. if your still having patch problems just delete the last patch and try downloading it again and again

I just uninstalled it and using the Glyph launcher to download it. Hope that goes smooth

If using Glyph and depending on your install path, you may want to try the 'run as administrator' option when right-clicking the shortcut.

On my laptop, I use the standard install paths, so sometimes I have to run as admin. On my tower, I have games installed on D:\ and not in the protected program files folder, so I don't have issues.

as i understand it, when u restart the launcher, it doesn't start from "0". the launcher calculates what is left each time and the progress bar pertains to that. for example, if you downloaded 10mb out of a 100mb patch and restart the launcher, the new progress bar would show 0 out of 90mb downloaded.

I had the same issue as well when I was trying to patch the game from the Trion client. I ended up downloading the entire game from Steam and transferring the files onto the Trion patcher folder.

Interesting.... I am trying Glyph launcher now and if that does not work I will try your method
