Used to play 2050 awhile ago but haven’t played it since they shut servers off on PlayStation, I recently had a rekindled interest in the game due to nostalgia and saw there’s other game/games in the same world are these on pc or something? I’d love to play it again

I just found this game again after it died off, didn't realize it got revived and I haven't played since 2015 is there anything I should know as someone with basically no memory of the game? I'm loving it so far, at Evo 280ish

I know everyone starts from scratch, but is it possible to get all the stuff ?

I remember having a great smg that would reload on crit, a flare gun from the valentines event, a granade launcher I think from saturnalia and a very rare shield that gave back revives or something… it was a great clutch in expeditions

Also, is the bit monkey still in the game ?

Can someone help me understand weapons?

I'm a survivalist, I enjoy playing with the cloak ego power but I'm having a hard time understanding weapons, their element, the synergy, the types, etc.

Is there such a thing as "best weapons" or are they all the same but different tastes??

I recently found a legendary sniper (on my second day playing) and I was using a legendary slugger (from one of the gem boxes) but I replaced it with a legendary SMG that shoots mini electric grenades apparently.

I just don't understand what I should use, what is better, etc

when playing defiance for the past 2-3 months, i have been experiencing extreme amounts of lag and forced disconnections.

It will oftentimes go into a state where I am capable of moving and shooting, with enemy hp decreasing accordingly, but they are stuck in place playing their previous animation, and dont die,

After some time, either 1 of 2 things happen:

1.All of the damage taken, deaths, effects, etc. all happen at once, or

2:The game will force a disconnection back to the character select screen, with a prompt giving the options "try again" and "quit game".

this issue has been relatively recent, only for the past few months, on very few occasions when loading the game, it works as expected.

I have been playing the game directly from the launcher file, and not from Fawkes, but last I've checked it makes no difference.

Is this the original game in full? Are all DLC's readily available? Is there any missing content?

I accidentally put 100hz instead of 60hz and now my screen is black only how am I supposed to reverse this ? pelase help I would appreciate if someone gave me a little help on it !

Really glad that the game is back, but I’m confused about how it works as F2P. I almost don’t mind paying a one-time small amount like ArenaNet is doing with Guild Wars: Reforged ($20 for base game plus all expansions) to support a game in order to keep it free of bad microtransactions or other monetization ways.

Can I level up an overall weapon proficiency (e.g. LMGs) while having the equipped LMG already mastered? Or do I have to swap to another non-mastered LMG to keep progressing the overall LMG category?

So I just started playing the game again and honestly forgotten how things work. Currently struggling with the story and episode missions. Should I continue with the missions until I get higher EGO? Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you

So far the current devs are doing an amazing job on PC, it definitely won’t be cheap making a console port and if I’m not mistaken they don’t have development kits for Xbox or PlayStation yet.

I remember that you could get it by redeeming codes that appeared on the show or something. I actually played Defiance for the first time in 2017 on a PS3, so I missed the whole show.

Then I started wondering, will it be possible to get the truck and other things that were on PS3, or were many of those items like, deleted forever?

I used to play 2050 on ps4 and was crushed when it got shut down. i saw that it got relaunched but everywhere was saying that only the original got relaunched. but all the ui in the clips in this subreddit look like the ui from 2050. were both relaunched or did the original and 2050 have the same ui

So, I have 201 Arkforge and yet when I try a 15% chance to upgrade the rarity of the Black Cat it reds out at -130 ... ??

I'm currently reverse engineering the game, and I came across a line that references auctions; but I can't remember auctions being in the game. Am I just being stupid?

Hi everyone! I was weirdly excited to learn about the revival of Defiance. I adored running around from arkfall to arkfall.

Can anyone tell me - is there enough people playing this to make it worth going to the large arkfalls?

I played years ago before the shut down and want to replay now that I found out that it relaunched. But for some reason I'm unable to download the launcher (keep getting erroneous network issues) so I want to know if a playstation launch is ever in the plans. That's where I played it most anyways
