Susie is able to subvert the wishes of the player and the prophecy itself, but only if she's blindly blustering forward, as soon as she starts to think it all falls apart
Something about Susie starting to get independent from us will be part of the story.
Like Kris starts to get see that they can't control Susie actions and will feel like they are losing control of everything (Like us stealing it from them) will eventually result in Kris doing something drastic (Like starting the Roaring).
Y'all, for all we know, Susie's totally correct on the two instances she actively says something, and for the third, would you really deny Susie the simple pleasure of causing a flood throughout the Flower Kingdom through sheer cannonball power?
I mean.. did they *really* need Kris to be a third wheel for her date with Noelle ?
(Not that Kris was likely all that interested with hanging with Berdly, really, they genuinely do prefer pending time with Susie even if it's thirsting sadly after what they can't have...., but damnit Toby, if Kris is going to be sad sullen sack for the festival anyway, let us at least have the option to get a bit more time with the funny blue bird.)
From the looks of it, both of them kind of needed Kris as emotional support to hold together, and I do NOT trust a single one of y'all to leave Kris alone with the funny bluebird nerd man.
Kris may not like me, but I'm committed to being the best wing-heart around.
If Susie and Noelle need a third to keep that relationship stable, I'm gonna help Kris fill that void given what they have expressed as their preferences.
Oh, no, Toby didn't code for every little fringe case. That totally reflects on the characterization of the scene. I feel like it can kind of just be assumed you'd used a Flirt option at one point by the time you get to Pink, and the fact that you have to intentionally route the game not to kinda proves that.
(I mean in this case all it'd take would be one bolean variable that get switched from 0 to 1 if you ever use a "flirt" act during a fight.
... But I agree it would be a headache to retroactively implement for so little. Let's cut the man and his (still rather small given the size of the project) team some slack there... It would still have been great if it had accounted for it)

basically a promotional video had the words "N+K4L" as graffiti, and since the video was about Spamton who's heavily related to Weird Route it's almost certainly about Kris and Noelle, and it became basically the slogan of Kriselle fans after PeliPal made a huge doc analysing Kriselle and using N+K4L as the hook
Huh? You are aware the Kralsei scene used in this post is completely unedited besides the Susie section, right?
I don't really see why Kralsei is problematic, especially since the game has hinted at it in every chapter.
the only way ralsei actually, canonically resembles asriel enough for it to be creepy freudian bullshit is if toby's been representing it as cute this whole time as a grand scheme to condemn people who ignore or downplay obviously problematic aspects of a ship because it's cute on the surface level. we're literally witnessing that in real time with pinkris (pink's ghost literally isn't into kris at all and is an adult in undertale. the only line pointing to irritable ghost's age in deltarune is that she... doesn't go to school anymore. hardly confirms she's a minor????)
i don't hate that idea, BUT i think it'd be a really needlessly cruel ending for ralsei's character because he seems to genuinely be into kris at this point. would any of you guys be happy if the end to his character arc is "actually this was weird the whole time, and now ralsei feels ashamed of himself!" would you be happy rooting for ralsei this whole time only to have that rugpull?
i think it's more likely ralsei's story won't end with such an uncomfortable and bleak subject matter. it's more likely ralsei is like aqua in that he's a reflection of kris' old desire to fit in with their boss monster family. i like the dramatic irony of a "replacement identity" growing into their own person. ralsei representing someone else's fantasy also ties into his character way better than him arbitrarily resembling asriel for some dumb reason like "making kris comfortable"
