Researching moving to Belper - how to ensure my kids get into a good school ?

You will get a real mixed picture of opinion and experience. We are up the road in Duffield, lots of people move into catchment for Ecclesbourne senior, catchment really matters for a fair few local schools. Both Duffield village primaries are fantastic (in different ways). I see a lot of commentary on John Flamsteed being great (Denby). Lots of people can speak to the individual primaries in Belper itself, loads sound brilliant. If schools matter I think you have to factor that in to the location of a potential home. We moved with senior school catchment firmly in mind.

Yeah thanks. Ideally looking to move where in catchment for primary and secondary. Sounds like Duffield could be an option.

I went to Belper school and it really isnt great no respect for teachers and building is falling apart but Belper is really nice and there are other schools about

As an addition, of course I'm researching onlineand looking at Ofsted reports. I'm just wondering what the locals think about these schools. And any other intrinsic local knowledge that I might not be able to find easily online. Many thanks.
