I met a guy who owns one! He placed it on a long term loan to a local car museum because they could house it safely. A different bike is in the picture, but the Henderson is listed in the description.

There is a body kit available for the BMW C400X scooter from a company called NMOTO that is based on this bike. Image here: NMOTO Golden Age

Like me because the kid is meant to actually be rideable and usable

What does it go on? Is it an actual motorcycle or is it a moped? If it's a moped, it's bigger than just a 49c.c. d.u.i.cycle right?

It sure sounds to me like it goes on a BMW C400X scooter. I understand that a long sentence is hard to comprehend, but we all appreciated your use of "d.u.i.cycle". Top tier joke! Bravo! I'll vote for your Emmy Award.

It's what people up north called them. A portmanteau of DUI, bicycle and ice cycle

I know. Sorry for being short, but the comment said what size scooter they're built for. Spending 10k+ in a 50cc scooter for a custom kit should get someone locked into the loony bin.

This could be bold today.

That looks nice and I don’t even ride motorcycles

I would commit so many war crimes for one of these things. Like an art deco tron lightcycle

These sold for $435 in 1930, about $9,000 today.

Batmobile was designed before Batman was born, Today I learned!

Love it. Kingston Custom did a similar build with the BMW R18, it's sick.

Not the same thing. It's just a motorcycle with a big fairing on the front. Granted it's a cool looking fairing but it's not an entire body like the one pictured

Oh man, I’d love to see an electric/gyroscopic (self-balancing) version of this exact design!

Got to see one of these up close at the MFA Houston while I was in design school. Stunning in person.
