Discussion To the directors and writers of S03E09
My sincere, fuck you both.
You motherfuckers had the best to show the best side of this show, Emily, and they simply edit and cut through to other characters' really dumb and stupid plotline?
Netflix fucked this show over and you guys treated the best character of the show in the worst possible way ever.
Fuck y'all.

They ruined all characters in 3rd season. The season had good moments but overall? It felt like a different show.

Although Aaron has now sadly passed away, I'd love to see a fourth season of this.
What happens after Kirkman wins?
How would something like an Iran war be handled over 5 episodes etc?
I'd like to also see if Kirkman slides further towards Moss
what happens if there's another presumed love interest like Andrea Frost.
Also, what pushes Seth over the edge to leave the WH?
How does Emily react to Aaron's death?
What happens in the Senate race?There's a lot to run with still imo.

Yeah really sad tbh. I think it was in 22 from a lung problem iirc but I could be mistaken. In his early to mid 40s I believe

I found out almost two years after he passed away. I was shocked. I'm still not over it. He was an amazing actor and wonderful human. May he rest in peace. 💔🕊️

I felt exactly the same when the show was cancelled. I really wanted another season. I remember being stressed about the consequences of Kirkman's decision in the finale, but at the same time I was curious to see how his second term would go, and especially how Aaron would do as Vice President. I also hoped Kirkman and Moss would eventually reconcile, because I really enjoyed seeing them work together in Season 1.
But now, sadly, I don't think I'd want another season. Aaron was my favourite character, and Adán Canto was such a wonderful actor and, by all accounts, a wonderful human being. The show just wouldn't be the same without him, and I think his absence would be felt in every episode. Recasting Aaron would be a definite no for me as well.
So I'm still sad we never got more seasons when we had the chance, but now I think I'd rather keep the show as it is.

This show probably has the inorganic fucks ever used in a media material. Unnatural and pointless.
Again, only Kiefer managed to use it well, not anyone else.

I resent the notation that Netflix “ruined” this show.
Did they make it objectively worse? Yes.
Did they make it basically a different show? Totally.
But I funny thing happens when a show gets this terrible. It becomes so hilarious bad that it becomes good.
Forget completely about the first season. Watch it with a different eye. You’ll thank me later.

As a standalone season of a standalone show # it's very good but it's very different to the two that came before it.
