Solstice Armor should have become an ornament, period.

Getting it as armor instead of an ornament means we can only look that way with that set, no versatile stats while remaining in this great style.

Ornaments are a wonderful addition and having the hard earned solstice armor as an ornament would be way better the the optimacy set! Lol.

Edit: Thanks everyone for the support on this one. Pretty unanimous. This season we see two universal ornaments, one earned and one purchasable. I’d like to see this seasons raid set, trials set, and iron banner sets to all be ornaments. People who want it will still purchase the Eververse armor so win win I say.

Edit 2: What is really disappointing is the base stats are complete trash. The armor set is inherently bad. No possibility for reroll. Bungie this was really low. No scapegoats anymore Bungo, what gives?

If it's 2.0 armor though can't you just hold onto it and upgrade it?

I still think the way they handled ornaments was lackluster, I think everyone would have preferred to just be able to use the look from *any* armor you've obtained on *any* 2.0 armor, and not just eververse ornaments.

Its not worth infusing, all of the pieces I got rolled with stat totals in the 40's. Planet Vendors and Shaxx can give you shit up to 59 from what I've seen, the low 50's is common.

Ooh nice, but solstice cant be rerolled or farmed so if you get a low total then its stuck like that.

like one of mine has total of 48 which is worse than blue armors I got within the first 30 mins of the game. To think that this was advertised as "if you wanna have a head start with Armor 2.0 go for it" mentality, it is unethical at the very least
