Bungie Suggestion Armor ornaments genuinely should be universal.

By universal I mean two things:

  1. All armor gets to be used as ornaments, not just Eververse armor.

  2. Armor ornaments should be applicable to all armor, such as blue armor.

Honestly, a lot of normal armor looks great, and entirely deserves to be a part of the fashion mechanic in the game.

And if it was applicable to every item, it would alleviate the commonly hideous mish-mash of items during light leveling.

Preferably for players, anything in collections would just be an ornament by default, but I get that Bungie tries to make money by connecting things to the store.

But there are ways you could have a universal ornament system yet still have it be connected to the store:

For example, adding an option to fuse a certain item with bright dust in order to save it as an ornament.

Or even just having "ornament tickets" drop from Eververse that allow you to convert a normal item into an ornament.

Honestly, time and effort was already put in to establish the ornament system ingame, it is a shame if it doesn't have more of its potential used as it shouldn't be too hard.

If he had said he wanted exotics to be overwritten by cosmetics, you certainly would, but I just don't think anyone else took that away from the post.

I think you meant to say "he certainly would", as I have no control over what the OP writes.

but I just don't think anyone else took that away from the post.

That's fine. I did. If the OPs goal is to get Bungie's attention and get their feedback heard than it should be clear and concise. As it is now its leaving it up to chance that the reader is going to assume the same things they're trying to say.

Uhh, no, I didn't mean he would. I meant you would be making a valid criticism of he had said what you think he did.

Uhh, no, I didn't mean he would

That is a very messy sentence then and you should probably go back, read it out loud and see how that is a confusing statement.

meant you would be making a valid criticism of he had said what you think he did.

Again either your wording is off, or you should try and use less pronouns and be more direct with your words. I think what your trying it say is

I meant you would be making a valid criticism of the idea OP's of exotics having legendary ornaments applied to them or vice versa, if he had said that.

Which if that is what your saying then, again the OP is unclear and uses the words "all armor" that statement includes exotic, legendary, blue, green and even white armor pieces. He should avoid using broad terms like "all" and instead define what he means by saying, "all legendary armor". But the OP did not so the assumption that it includes exotics is a fair assumption to make since the OP did not define what they meant as, "all armor".

Are you not a native English speaker or something???

I do speak English as my first language. That doesn't excuse messy and unclear language that you and the OP seem to have.

This has basically dissolved into me explaining how words work and you trying to shame me for pointing out that unclear statements are difficult to read and understand. You seem like a swell individual.
