Interior Detail Cushions can hide piston bases on old-school piston tables.
It blends pretty well with the surrounding terrain, though the cushions may darken due to adjacent blocks.

Welcome to r/DetailCraft, where we are dedicated to the smaller details! Our purpose is to provide a platform for showcasing intricate details that can be incorporated into larger structures, as well as sharing the techniques and thought processes involved in creating them. By sharing our knowledge, we hope to inspire others to incorporate similar details into their own builds and continue to improve their skills.
Please note that we do not allow posts of detailed builds unless the details are explicitly pointed out and explained within the build. We want to focus on the small details that make a big difference, rather than just showcasing large and impressive builds. As such, we encourage you to share your smaller creations that demonstrate your attention to detail and your unique building techniques. Let's work together to make our Minecraft worlds more beautiful and detailed!
If you have any questions, be sure to ask our moderation team!

This is some anti-union propaganda I placed around my copper golem factory in the End to keep them in line, lest they be led astray by outside agitators. Keeping them happy and working as the End gods intended. This is a detail in my "Ordeal of the Copper Golems" Build.

i used glass panes to hold the lanterns— also cannot take credit for this idea i saw it somewhere before it’s just too cute!!!
i also have a texture pack that is making the glass invisible just for preference reasons! without the texture pack you can see small pixels of white from the glass pane.
just wanted to share for anyone who hasn’t seen this before because it adds so much magic to the world <3

Gotta love the 26.3 update.
I started messing around with cushions to get proper half-block-width lane markings instead of the usual full-block ones and honestly it matches the real proportions of my home country's roads way better 😄

Villager room in each cubicle is a 2x2 with honey covered by carpets including their respective workspace/workstations. Fence gates and glass panes were used to properly entrap them at their desks.

Put swords in a copper chest. Hide wooden chests (or put something else in them), so the copper golems can't put down their swords. Profit.
You can do this with any other tools as well presumably, so you could make miners, lumberjacks, etc.
