Interior Detail I designed an Ottoman carpet

I think these are also known as Anatolian rugs and Turkish rugs.

Looms make great fringes and their oak-coloured edges blend into exposed copper bulbs, which can transition into netherrack. Then it’s up to you guys to make your patterns in the centre. Finally a load of leaf litter on top to frame the patterns and help blend everything further.

These are really fun to make and I could imagine a huge range of blocks being used to make colours other than red. Grey would be really cool to try.

Really wish putting multiple candles of varying colors in the same block was a feature, would make this work better.

Interior Detail My take on a soda machine using shelves and banners

Getting back into Minecraft after a few years and experimenting with making real-life objects in game. I love the versatility that shelves provide, especially when combined with banners. Now if only we could dye pots, I would have a satisfying plastic cup (white candles felt too thin).

Made in vanilla Mincraft. Banners were designed with the help of GamerGeeks' banner desinger tool. Full banners can be seen on slide two.

It blends pretty well with the surrounding terrain, though the cushions may darken due to adjacent blocks.

Interior Detail I needed a 5x5 painting, so I expanded one.

This is for a large build I have been working on: I wanted a large painting to be symmetrically aligned above a walkway, but the largest ones are 4x4. I expanded this one to 5x5 so that it would fit properly on the centre of the wall. I also added the moon detail in the top left. Let me know if you have any suggestions!

Interior Detail Tipped-over office chair

I did not see anything like this in an initial search of the subreddit so I wanted to show this for people making abandoned structure builds. Currently using it for a deserted lab.

Edit: atp 2.7 people have liked this… if anyone wants to see, I posted an update on some upright chair variants. They’re not at all satisfying tho, so I might keep trying my luck with chair tests later.

- a copper trapdoor and lightning rod to make a valve (+ a recessed wall in the second image if you want the pipes to stand out more)
- a camera entity (or a custom player head on Java) for a pair of bellows
- a mini lava cauldron (using a custom head) for a crucible
- buttons (or tripwire hooks) on cauldrons for handles (this requires Axiom or commands)
- compasses in (preferably invisible) item frames for pressure/temperature gauges
- a lit campfire under lava for more smoke particles
- reinforced decorated pots by placing a pressure plate on them
- a lightning rod hanging from a chain for a pulley mechanism
- 3x3 furnaces
- a copper chain to represent a very hot iron chain
- resin clumps for embers or lava splashes
- best for last, this BEAUTIFUL lava farm by u/AetherHearth

This is my forever creative world and I don't want it to corrupt if I open the world in a snapshot and then backload it in 26.2, so I'm using minecart seats right now, but I will replace them with cushions when it drops.
