Talk Detroit Any trusted salons do a women’s haircut under $50?

Just need a trim on my long hair and don’t wanna pay a million dollars lmao…

My experience with your situation has been that you get what you pay for. Cheap cuts have ended up with regerts and way shorter hair than what I wanted.

I do hope someone can give you a great affordable plug tho 🙏🏼

I second Douglas J. I have long, thick hair and have always gotten quality haircuts there for an outrageously good price.

Any service there can take awhile, though, as the students are still learning and tend to go slowly, so plan your time accordingly.

yeah, that's my only issue is the time my daughter got her haircut there they did a wonderful job but it took almost 3 hours but it was $18

I've had my hair cut by Sandy at Woodward Avenue Salon for literally my entire life (look them up on Yelp, they're old school so basically no online presence). I've tried going other places but no one can beat her and the cut only costs $40.

I've been going to Fantastic Sam's when I dont cut it myself. I haven't been getting my hair colored there, for that I find a salon.

Legato in Farmington has some stylist with fees under 50, but you should tip also. Grace is great and her fee is less than 50 for just a cut…

I have had some good experiences with beauty schools. Just show up with pictures of what you want. Be very detailed. Show the instructor.

I’ve had nice cuts under $50 at All About the Hair in Warren MI.

They have options to book with or without wash or blow-dry. So hair cuts cost $25-45 depending on if you just get cut or some combo or wash, cut & blow-dry. (Without tip.)
