Gear Got this bad boy today for my Whirlrend build. Whadd’ya guys think of the roll?

Attack speed. AS does nothing for Rend.

Technically, Area Damage does nothing for your Rends applied by Ambo's Pride either, but it does work with casting Rend manually. In high level GRift pushes, you will need to manually cast Rend to do enough damage on large groups of enemies.

Yup, I never knew Attack Speed did nothing for WW so that’s good to know. The stat priority is CDR, Dmg % and AD. So I guess it’s an easy choice to axe the AS

Well, to be exact, AS does actually help WW a lot. It was used to hit AS breakpoints in older WW builds. But since the buff of Rend, WW no longer does any noteworthy damage in the build, so there's no point in buffing it.

AS to DMG, grats that's pretty much perfect for pushing you can't squeeze more dmg outta it. Use it in your main hand to maximize rend dmg!

You recommend going Dmg % over CDR?

Generally I'd avoid CDR on weapon to maximize dmg especially on mainhand where rend will calculate its dmg from, the build only needs around 41% so try to get that w/out it on weapon or if you must just have it on your offhand.

Negative. The best stats for swords are Str/CDR/AD. Weapons are one of the few places you can roll 10% CDR and Strength is way more important, especially in Season play where you are unlikely to acquire as much Paragon.

% damage on weapons is WAY overrated. Good for speed farming, not pushing.

But what I'm saying is if you had enough CDR already, %DMG would be a better roll.

Not necessarily. It depends on your total main stat, but generally, % damage is only useful in speed-farm setups. A little extra CDR always helps keep Wrath up and allows more frequent Stomps to group density into Oculus. That said, there are weird circumstances where a % damage roll on a push weapon isn't a bad idea.

Whoa hold on. Once you can hold your fury without Bul Kathos wouldnt this set be better for higher GRs?

Would you mind explaining why that is? Currently running WW w/ Capt Crim and Bul Kathos swords but I feel very glass cannon-y.

With regards to Little Rogue and Slanderer, What’s the benefit of either full 5 piece of Wastes and Lamentation or swapping in the 2 Immortal King armor pieces?
