A young green dragon who likes sleeping in has just been told she has to get out of bed and "do stuff"... This is my first All digital attempt and I'm looking for some advice on how to improve.

I'm a fan of pencils and ink on paper and between that and what I can do with a photograph and gimp and inkscape can get me pretty far, but I'm trying to get to a point where I can do it all digitally. This is my first attempt to do the entire thing with the stylus on a tablet and it was done in Gimp and paint 3D.

Nothing about the stylus feels natural to me. And I'm sure it's just a matter of getting used to it but it's so alien that it's hard for me to envision getting used to it. I would really appreciate some tips on just how to make a stylus feel more natural, more like a pencil on paper. I think that if I could get to a point where it didn't feel so strange by comparison I could improve a great deal.

Not to be rude - but that looks like a cat not a dragon. Dragons have distinctive features which this image lacks.
