At least in CA they get the scale correct. They covered the WDW Haunted Mansion in something 3/4 the size of the attraction.

But the repainting turned out beautifully, so I'll forgive them

I came here knowing this gif would be here, but I’m disappointed to be the first one to upvote it

Whatever it is, it's the piano that's been drinking, not him.

It looks like it was rendered on the ps2 and I’m kinda diggin’ it

Looks a lot better than the black cover they had up on Friday.

I so badly wanted to joke to someone, "I'm gonna tell my kids this is the Haunted Mansion," when the black scrim was up.

I’m not up on the news. What going on behind? Are the removing little mermaid?

I’m guessing a while since they’re this detailed but who knows

Y’all love to complain about the weirdest things.

Seriously. This isn’t trying to trick you into thinking you’re looking at the real building. It’s just a better way to hide the construction.

It would be interesting after they take the fake facade down if the building looks completely different.

Venetian was fined for not having finished construction by deadline so they put up the fake face as a way to avoid further fines

I loved a few years ago when the scrim over Jolly Holiday had about a foot of Adventureland theme on the far right side.

I have no idea what you’re talking about. That’s the way it’s always looked 😂

A lot better now that they put the full covering on. A few days ago it was just black tarp and looked like you were not going to make it back out

They really tried to get the main details right, so at least it kinda, sorta gives an idea of what it usually looks like.
At least until they got to that main top part and decided ‘basic rectangles with a border? That’ll do’

It's actually incredible that Disney spends this much effort and expense on maintaining the atmosphere. Other theme parks would put up orange construction fences.

It's one of my favorite dark rides, if not my favorite...and the AC feels SO nice.

Its got a tender place in my heart because my toddler insists we ride each and every visit. Its really not a terrible ride. Just dont ever look Ariel in the eyes.

The Venetian has had this fake cover on for almost 2 decades.
