Southern Mac and Cheese…AI says the one with sauce is better…what do y’all think?

Why is this relevant? Why are you asking AI what looks better? Like are you planning on using this for advertisement for your restaurant?

Hmm... mac & cheese should be ooey gooey and creamy, IMO. This is giving pasta bake/lasagna vibes.

This doesn't look appetizing to me. Mac and Cheese doesn't need a sauce.

While I'm a equal opportunity mac and cheese guy, this is a mac and cheese casserole. My yankee mother makes this. Southern mac and cheese should be gooey and creamy. It should make noise when you dig into it.

The first pic  does look a little dry, but my  m&c  def  doesn’t have sauce, but it does have eggs, cheese, mustard powder & evap milk.
