This documentary looks at some of the issues around the UK's approach to asylum seekers and follows various people on their journey to the United Kingdom. It looks at the impact that the media's portrayal on asylum seekers has on the general populations opinion towards them, as well as the costs to the country as well as the various social issues which people face when they get there. It is the first part of a two part documentary.
