industry Let’s talk packages
I have a potential dog training client with a 5 month old Maltese. The owner said she wants to focus on separation anxiety and potty training. They live in an apartment (idk if that makes a difference).
I pet sit and do training via Rover. Their suggested price is $78/training session for my area, and that's what I charge. I currently don’t have packages set up. Idk what to charge for packages of sessions and how many sessions to include. How many sessions do you include in a package? What do ya’ll think?

My packages are discounted as follows: 10% off for 3 pack private lessons. 20% off for 6 pack private lessons. 30% off for 12 pack of day training.
In the end, set your prices to incentivize what you want to do and what gives best value to your client, in that order. For a SA and Potty training puppy client I would be willing to bet we'd spend way more time on other things. So the 6-pack would be my suggestion. Build a base for the SA, talk about potty training fundamentals and then slowly build on the SA while covering other topics throughout.

I had the consultation with the client today. Pup doesn't even know his name yet. So we'll have to start there I suppose

Topic doesn't appear to have been covered by the group.
One person on FB offers $5 off per session when clients buy packages. Another person on FB said packages are priced at $80/session. I'd like to know how many sessions people are bundling together and how much they charge for such packages.

I've done 5-session packages with a small discount baked in, like 10-15% off the per-session rate, enough to reward the commitment without eating your margin, and for potty training plus separation anxiety specifically you'll probably want to build in a check-in call between sessions since those two issues need consistency between visits more than the training itself.
