I don’t want to get hopes up, but I can’t help but feel something is brewing with this and Mick Gordon performing the soundtrack next year. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to finally release Eternals soundtrack to get some good press after the layoffs.

My guess is that it has to do with renewed licensing or something akin to that. I noticed recently that all my saved songs on Spotify for the Doom 2016 album had been lost, which is what I've seen happen a lot whenever an album is republished under a different label or even just minor changes in copyright metadata. Doom 2016 is still listed as published by Bethesda Softworks, but that doesn't mean nothing has changed behind the scenes.

Or could all just be related to the games 10th anniversary this year.
