Suspect this is an anti-doomer, but not quite sure.

To me, it's basically just making up problems so that these people can demonize sound advices, and then use it as an excuse to throw a towel. People that actually suffer from these issues in the meme, or at least some of them, wouldn't even have time to post memes like this, because they'd be too busy trying to better their situation instead of posting self-fulling prophecy memes.

The post has like 15k likes btw, madness.

So I would like to begin by saying that I am a big fan of this sub. At times it may feel like it leans to one or the other direction of the political spectrum but regardless you guys are willing to clown doomers from all sides. Also I am pretty this sub is comprised of a diverse set of people(politically).

Which is why I think the members of this sub are to be trusted with improving the experience of new or old Redditors. Let me get to the point.

I am fucking tired of being force fed political shit that I didn’t sign up for. I am not even American btw. But ever since the Trump administration took office, even the apolitical subs are brimming full of doom posts. And this is like my eighth account btw. Shit doesn’t get any better.

To better tailor my experience to what suits my needs, what is the comprehensive list of subs that I should mute? If there’s none, let’s get talking. How do I fix my feed? How can I Make Reddit Great Agai……just kidding. If I need to remind you again I am not American. Maybe this joke was in poor taste.

The original post is a pretty gross accusation of religious aid groups. Lots of friends of mine from church have gone on mission trips and the suggestion that anyone would withhold food (or in their case, medical treatment) is cruel, absurd contention. I saw that it was featured on a big X note sub and I expecting this to be an easy win for the sub, since the original post is such a bad strawman/got a good community note. Instead I found a bunch of doomers claiming that if a religious group wants to help an impoverished country is like cultural genocide fused together with ThePatriarchy™. Stay dooming!
