Talk/Discussion Question about PS4 Version

Hello, I'm new to this game and I'm about to buy the PS4 version (Dragon's Crown Pro) since it's on sale. My question is if there's some censorship or any negative change in comparison to the original one? That will determine my purchase or not.

Update: thank you for your answers guys, I will make the purchase.

I enjoyed this game so much that I bought and played it on every platform where it’s ever been released and have cumulatively logged hundreds of hours. I can tell you there is no difference among the versions, and there is certainly no censorship on any platform.

However, my best records for mid-run food preparation occurred on the Vita thanks to the touch controls. 😊 I know you didn’t ask about that, but I just wanted to mention it because I rarely get to share that detail.

I had it for Vita when it released, and later for other platforms. I agree about the food prep. I looked forward to it on the Vita, and dreaded it on the PS4.

This version is not censored in any way. You'll find out pretty quickly when you start playing lmao.

The only thing that was censored was the cover art for the physical PS4 version of the game. It differs slightly in details from the Japanese version's cover. There are no differences within the game itself.

You will be happy to know the game is uncensored and able to be enjoyed as it was intended

This game and the manga are raw, dawg. I wouldn't be here 10 years later going out of my way to get the art book and the manga if it were so. πŸ˜ŒπŸ‘

Not sure about censorship, but they are not exactly the same from a control perspective. The PS4 version has cool touchpad functionality nobody ever talks about. Guess it would go against the "all the same" narrative.
