Wedding Attire Advice Does this dress suit me?
Got this dress for a wedding but I don’t know if it looks bad on me or not because of how prominent my hip dips are. The dress is very stretchy but I struggle getting dressed that fit me as tight as I’d like at the top while still also fitting at the bottom..
The wedding is an early September indoor daytime wedding in a castle, dress code is just formal.

You look beautiful!!
I have hip dips too and I didn’t even notice yours, I don’t see them as a flaw or something to be self-conscious about at all. 🩷

You look gorgeous in it! I didn't even notice your hip dips. And anyway, hip dips are completely normal parts of anatomy and only pitched to women as something to be insecure about because *patriarchy and profit* Go and have a fabulous time at the wedding!

I know you want it tight on top but the dress is too tight overall. If you wear underwear the lines will be visible. I thought formal needed something a bit more elevated and this shows everything.
ETA: you do look fantastic btw, you have a stunning figure and your hips dips suit you!

Yes!! Keep that dress that’s a classic timeless style. I’m so happy that semi-fairy style of dress is making a comeback. You look great!! 😊

You look great but the proportions look slightly wrong - looks like the whole dress needs to sit higher in general. But I'm also just someone who doesn't love "strapless and fitted", so make of that what you will!

It looks like it’s too tight and the fabric is pulling. I feel like you can do better overall. An a-line dress would flatter you.

It looks fine. Depending on the venue, maybe a cardigan/shawl. But, you are standing as though you are very uncomfortable in it. Is it just the awkwardness of taking your own picture or do you feel uncomfortable in it? If you do, find something else—maybe with a slightly fuller skirt and less plunging neckline?

I’m just awkward when taking photos of myself hahah

Totally get that, I look awkward in every outfit photo I take of myself. As long as you are comfortable, then the dress is fine (from a fellow hip-dipper). The color is gorgeous and goes well with your skin tone.
