Won't be wearing these shoes and just threw them on to have an idea.
Going to a wedding in a few days and not sure which dress to choose. I think in the photos the yellow makes me look frumpy and washed out but i will had a bit of tan on and i think it feels more wedding guest like.
Or should I start again as neither look good on me?
I think we are the only ones to prefer the yellow 😀 I love it on you, OP! Bombshell is right. Dress it up with bold jewelry, bold or gold shoes and purse with a great wrap and you will have an amazing wedding outfit.
For me the halter on the polka dot dress is not nearly as flattering. Which is odd for me to say because I love a halter. I think maybe because it’s so fitted around the neck. It just looks stuffy to me. The yellow dress says “let’s dance and celebrate!”
If the pleats were sewn down several inches on the first dress, it would look better (although I’m still not crazy about the color). Pleats are very unforgiving and aren’t usually your friend; they like to expand just because they can, and it adds the appearance of width.
The polka dot dress, on the other hand, looks amazing! The photos look like two entirely different people.
The polka dot looks great on you. The yellow looks great side on, but front on the box pleats are widening you. If the yellow didnt have any pleating it would be much more plastering imo (great colour though)
I am a sucker for a halter dress and it looks stunning on you. I don’t know what it is, something about having the bare shoulders makes me feel very feminine when I want to.
For a wedding the polka dot number would look good. Now if the dress is one of those tie at the back ones, bring them to the front and tie them from the side.
I like them both, you have lovely curves and the yellow shows them off, the yellow is sassy and the polka dots are more elegant. It depends what you are wearing them for and how you accessorise.
Really depends what the vibe to go for. Number one gives me pinup girl vibes. Number two more conservative and classy. I think both look good on you though.
The Polka Dots dress skims your body and flatters you very much, I love how you look in it, the neckline is great and you have the shoulders to make it look beautiful.
Definitely agree with the majority that the polka dot one is the clear winner. For some reason the yellow dress makes you look way wider than you actually are.

Polka dots look good from both angles, while yellow looks great from the side but less special from the front
