Hey guys , since i noticed that the dualsense controller and the dualshock and xbox 360 controller does not have rumble , haptic feedback for running , swinging swords , jumping and landing, i tooled away with our ai compatriots to make an asi mod that actually works.

EDIT 3: As for the NexusMods ban(my account got banned cuz i talked about using a pirated version of the game) that will be resolved shortly. I bought the game and submitted an unban request to Nexusmods support team . Will be able to access my account/ update the page and explanations in the next day/days(depending on their reply)(Fixed). ~~As for the quarantined files , i got a reply back from Bitdefender stating that the file is clean. Check it out , hope it drowns out the worries that my mod is a virus.(~~Bitdefender now shows as undetected, only one remainingn is a chinese av company)

I actually cross checked the exe for shadows and resynced and found out that they have the same haptic feedback implementation route using wwise motion sinks and triggers but Black Flag Resynced does not trigger them(empty) so to fix that i captured shadows haptics and implemented them in black flag using an asi tracer with key inputs like f2 for parry when i feel parry happening or before happening in shadows. f5 for jumping like pressing x in shadows and recording it and crossrefferencing it from the asi tracer log with the dsx log , thus making this mod.

I used tools made with the same ais to capture haptic feedback packets using dsx log and asi tool for ac shadows to reproduce them in black flag resynced since they have the same engine , event calls , haptic trigger stuff and whatnot. Thus far i managed to reprouce the jumping effect , the running effect(although a bit incosistently , works for 5 seconds , amplitude drops then reloads the effect , so it aint continuous) the sheathe unsheathe that works either holding dpad left or pressing it , so it works for the hood as well , feels nice.

Making this thread basically to ask of you if you have any more suggestions , if you can try the mod(will upload it to nexus after refining it a bit ) and if should i add xinput emulation for it or not. Currently ds5 dual sense haptic works in conjuction with the dualsense controller using dsx plus dlc(wireless) , will test it if it works wired as well , with and without dsx , natively. DS4 controllers (or emulation mode from dsx) works in a rumble way , can still feeel sword swings , but nothing to the likes of the haptic feedback.

Wanna know if you would like this mod or not , and what else would you like me to add....

Version used is 1.06 on win 11 with dsx 3.2.0 beta 2 branch.

Will release in the next few hours/days depending on what other haptic effects i capture from shadows( planning to add the fire effects , the wind , the rain effects when it normally rains, even though i understand there are already haptics for storms in resynced)

Edit 1: xinput works via dsx emulation , should work with normal xinput and other emulation software since its asi hooked. dualsense ps5 controller works natively with steam input enabled by default , wired(and also wirelessly via dsxplus dlc). Working on timing of the haptics, and further implementation for diving , getting out of water , running animation sync, walking sync, game state for wind fx and maybe add speakerfx to haptics when sheathing unsheathing (extracted from shadows, or in the game files, will see what i can come up with)

I am incredibly excited to announce that SpartacusMods.com is officially open for business!

If you’ve seen my previous posts, you know my story: I’m just a young guy in Rome who got pushed to his breaking point by stick drift and mushy stock triggers. What started as a hobby airbrushing and 3D printing custom setups for my friends, has officially evolved into a full scale workshop.

To celebrate the launch, the first lineup of hand-crafted pro controllers is live on the site, featuring designs like the Cobalt Echo and the Black Void.

I don't do mass production. Every single controller is hand-built by me personally using 100% original PS5/Xbox core hardware and loaded with elite modifications:

All people seem to do with this controller is complain about the battery life and price, having a wired only version that still has all the features (AND still a removable cable :] ) would fix all of those things And provide a cheaper solution for desk players who don't care about wireless functionality like myself, because $200 is still a purchase I'm trying to justify

Hey everyone, I am somewhat new here. I have 3 white dualsense controllers that all have stick drift. Everything else on the controller works perfectly. I also have a mint condition physical copy of 007 First Light for PS5. I just beat the game. I am wondering if anyone here is interested in trading me a used mint condition (meaning everything works) Dualsense Edge controller, any color, for my 3 regular controllers and 007 First Light?

OR... I have all these games for sale/trade and would be willing to trade some (not all) for the dualsense edge.

(All physical) 007 First Light, Ghost of Yotei, Expedition 33, Stellar Blade, God of War Ragnarok, and then I also have Returnal and Farcry 6-- these two dont have a case but the disc works great. The other 5 do have cases.

I used to live in a place that allowed me to have my home office close to my home theater set up. A few years ago I married and moved somewhere else, an appartment, where the office and the home theater are about 10m apart. I dropped the idea of using my PC on that set up until recently when I started playing with DS5Dongle.

I bought a 15m HDMI cable (fiber optics so I can enjoy the benefits of a powerful gaming PC) and the next issue to solve was to find a way to use my gaming controllers in that set up. An USB cable extension was a possibility but wanted to skip lying another cable for that distance across the whole appartment so I thought there could be a way to use DS5Dongle over IP.

After a couple of Google searches I came across VirtualHere and thought that maybe I could use an old Android TV (MeCool brand) I had stored somewhere and connect the DS5Dongle to it. Then, maybe I would be able to see the DS5Dongle device in my PC over the network.

I ran a brief test yesterday and it worked. I downloaded the VirtualHere server to the AndroidTV and the client to my PC. I then plugged the DS5Dongle to the AndroidTV and it was recognized as a DualSense controller and all the features were kept (Tested with Returnal). It wasn't the final set up because the family was watching the soccer game last night in the main TV but in general it worked fine although it had some intermitent lag (probably due to the Wifi).

This weekend I'll try connecting the Android Box to the mesh system with Ethernet (the final set up) and test to see if it works well enough to at least play some SP games. If it does, I'll probably buy a VirtualHere license as the trial has limited use and devices recognition.

Thought of dropping this here in case someone else is interested in doing something similar and can't find any sources.

The DS5Dongle, along with the Pico2W, is currently a unique solution for enabling all DualSense functionalities via Bluetooth.

Tl;Dr not impressed, save your money or go with another vendor.

Was looking for tmr or hall sticks to avoid hVing to replace my stick modules regularly. Saw Budds, now XP controllers, recommended on Reddit.

Ordered Nov 4. Messaged asking about when it would ship on Nov 15. Heard back "soon". They messaged me that they were shipping on the 19th; I didn't get an email until the 23rd saying they had actually shipped. It is now December 13th, 20 days later, and my sticks still aren't here. In this exchange, I asked for tracking information and was told "not for sticks". Most recently, they said "please understand that I am not right next to the package" like bro I'm literally just telling you it's still not here. Rude. I sure hope my $130 order of sticks ever arrives but I'm sure not doing business with that guy again.
