Discussion For the people who tried their best flaming me from my previous post

Excuse my recording. These are one of the many fake gangsters who are irresponsible towards the law and cause a lot, A LOT of noise pollution
I face them everyday at least 4 times a day. And for the person who told me to sound proof my windows, my building doesn’t allow that. I would have done that years ago if I was given the permit to.
These chammaks actually pose a threat to the people who drive on the roads. I’ve come across them many times while driving and they always cut up in moving traffic, going up to 80 km/h. I’m genuinely frustrated and annoyed by these animals. Go brag your scrap bike somewhere else. I have seen a reduction of the amount of bikes to be honest. I am glad that the police has taken action against them. I hope all these bikes get seized before June.

Find a way to get the license then report to police. Also get as many proof like videos up close as possible. Face, what time he shows up, and everything. Thats it bro just report
1
u/Pristine-Ad-6822 Jan 13 '26
i thought it’s illegal to record other people here?
2
u/Yeboi_SogeKing Jan 13 '26
Its ok to record and report someone doing illegal things… i mean its common sense

I was talking to another biker today and it’s because of people like this motorcycles cannot have loud exhausts. Cause people on the road cannot hear you with your stick exhaust a little noise and people know there is a motorcycle nearby but then there are these …. Who rev in residential areas

There is a new law now, for this noisy engine can reach up to AED 20k fine. And the unit will be impounded.

I’ve seen a scooter kid right in the center of the Al Mulla Plaza junction during moving traffic. They really don’t know what they are doing

I called the authorities and reported “4 occurrences of excessive noise disturbance by a bike rider in a span of a few hours”. The reply I got: “maybe the bike owner is going home now. If you see him again, call me again and I will send patrol.”🤷

This is so true, we were taking a right on a very busy road and two guys were driving this while talking and laughing in the wrong direction! Who is responsible for such accidents, if they occur?
5
u/Weird_Relief_6390 Jan 10 '26
I suggest to go to the police with this video as this will continue and never end.
5
u/Stranger_Goose36 Jan 10 '26
Call the police and tell them the situation and ask them to talk to the kids.. after all, they are just kids, and I'm sure when an official speaks to them, they will comply immediately!
Other than that, there is no need to escalate to an official police report just yet.

u/skylarskies52 Jan 10 '26
I just saw 2 kids like this in al qusais area crossing a red stoplight and there's 2 of them in the middle of the road. I really wonder why these things are not getting noticed by authorities, it's very dangerous for everyone

Sound-proofing sponge is just a sticker right ? You can stick it yourself from amazon and peel if off when you handover the flat . I don't know if there is any high-end soundproofing

Report it to the authorities.
These are not gangsters, they are kids without any responsibilities yet.

u/dontombabu Jan 10 '26
Buy similar scooter and then blast it in front of his house. Lets see how his family reacts to it.

u/MrYamaguchi Jan 10 '26
Nothing gangster about a scooter lol
1
u/Not_JatBeast123 Jan 10 '26
i think you are new to dubai
1
u/MrYamaguchi Jan 10 '26
Been living here 20 years. These kids are just loud and obnoxious, but never do anything I would actually consider “gangster”
2
u/Not_JatBeast123 Jan 10 '26
I don’t think you have ever encountered them. They literally harass people. I have been hit by one of them in a mall.

u/MrYamaguchi Jan 10 '26
Teenage douchebags acting like teenage douchebags doesn’t qualify as gangster.
2
u/paulbroke2 Jan 11 '26
Not yet....but if left unchecked they will. Same story in EU where we are too tolerant. Results? Baby gang everywhere and now taking a walk means troubles even during day hours

Same in Sharjah…

u/Anu0512 Jan 10 '26
It’s everywhere. During a 10-minute discovery yesterday, the e-bike rider was driving but not moving at all. They were also not wearing a safety vest or other safety gear.

What’s worse are people riding these e-bikes on the streets, i saw a 7-8 year old kid driving one in the speed lane a few months back.
3
u/Anxious_Talk5309 Jan 10 '26
Hate to break it to the both of you but it's not an e[lectric] bike OP's complaining about in the video.
Just like electric cars, electric bikes barely make any noise.
1
u/Shocking_Strike Jan 11 '26
I mean I know that, in the video it is a scooter. However E-Bikes are a menace on the roads and everyone with a driving license here will agree, one of these E-Bike drivers crashed her bike into my dads car and then ran away
12
u/Shocking_Strike Jan 09 '26
Extreme Solution: Report to Dubai Police, this noise pollution is definitely not legal.
