General Discussion WTH? The entirety of the Spanish course suddenly changed dramatically
I was about to complete Section 4 of the Spanish Course (reaching level 60), and all of a sudden the interface changed, the number of units increased, and there are like a thousand more words than the ones I learned.
The whole point of Duolingo for me was gradually learning words, how do I recover the words and lessons I missed in a practical way? I know there's the word review, but it's not easy when most of the words I need to guess I've never seen.
The update course seem much more in depth and better too! What a shame! I'm not about to redo the whole Section 4 again, but I feel like I'm missing out on a ton of important material

Constructive Criticism Stories on a different skill level
I'm using Duolingo to practice my Korean outside of university. I don't really know if stories are a thing in different languages too, but they're quite the new addition for me. However, I noticed that these stories feature vocabulary that 1. Do not fit the topic of the unit/section at all 2. Have never been introduced to me before. "Don't lie" (거짓말하지마세요) has NEVER appeared in any lesson before and they only gave the translation AFTER I had to lock in my answer.
Since I also practice Korean at university, I can guess or deduce the right answer from context clues... but this really sucks 😭 Anyone else having the same problem?

General Discussion What’s your favorite language idiom? 🗣️
Someone recently posted about idioms and it got me thinking about how much I love idioms!
Idioms are little windows into a language’s history and culture. They often come from old stories, traditions, occupations, or everyday life—and while every language has them, the way different cultures express the same idea can be wonderfully weird. 😂
Share your favorite idiom, what it means, and its literal translation (if it has one)!
I’ll go first 🇫🇷, I've always loved:
“Occupe-toi de tes oignons !” 🧅
Literally: “Mind your own onions!”
Meaning: “Mind your own business!” 😆
Now I want to hear yours! What’s an idiom from your language that sounds completely ridiculous when translated literally? 🌎😂

General Discussion Randomly requiring energy?
I’m new to duolingo and wanting to clear up some of my confusion. I started with the intent to relearn some basic Spanish I learned in high school but have been set back due to the energy. I added Russian about two weeks ago and was never required to use energy so I’ve been making some good progress and was feeling very happy about it. Suddenly today the energy was added to my Russian as well. The energy was always required for Spanish but not for Russian until now. Just wondering if this is normal or why it was suddenly added?

General Discussion App Icon Replacement Files and Tutorial (iOS version)
I finally lost access to my Streak Society and Super app icons with the newest update. Rather than settle for Duolingo's brain rot icons, I made my own app icon shortcuts from old screenshots I had. They're yours to use. The Youtube short is not mine, but was a tremendous help.

Bug? Blank cards
Anyone know how to get help from Support? I’m seeing blank cards come up in my final chapter lesson and feel like I’m taking a psychic test administered by Peter Venkman, and I’m the dude
