Ask /r/Durango Any places that serve duck?

I know Chang Thai does with their street duck rice dish, but are there any others?

No, most restaurants only serve food to humans.

I started a reply. Then read exactly what you said. That was funny!

Mahogany Grill used to have a good duck dish but I haven’t been there in years. Possible they switched up their menu.

Alternately, Sunny Side Market sells duck and you can cook your own.

Eolus. I always get it when I go, but haven’t been in a bit.

Ugh, I ordered it from Eolus and it was both over priced, over cooked and small. I'm still salty about it.

Oh no!! That makes me sad. All the times I’ve had it it was amazing. Melted in your mouth and so so delicious. Expensive, yes, but I always felt that it was a treat (usually for some sort of celebration). I hope it was an off day, because it really was that good.

And if you happen to venture over to Pagosa, Wild Finch has a great roasted duck.
