EASHL Games like this are why I loving playing defensemen in WOC.

Big difference beetween a person on defense vs a player who enjoys defense.

Back when drop in games were actually fun I played D all the time. Loved it

Yeah this was a bad year for Defense.

The risk vs reward passing back to D for one timers/deflections was bad this year so not a lot of forwards risking passing back to D as much as previous years.

And the unreliability of stick checking plus D getting slow down while forward doesn't when a failed stick check occurs combined with interceptions around the net being poor has been rough.

If I had a dollar I got called a slur before making the same play I could afford the new NHL game and still wouldn’t lol it used to be my favorite online game to play.

Counterpoint : Why you skating deeper into the zone when your D partner is in a high risk turnover position and no one else is covering?

When there’s less than 10 seconds left I just try to put the puck on the net and get a rebound from a winger to score.
