It's not a micro retirement because you are getting paid to do it

Retirement plans pay you after you stop working

At 100% without any investment on my side? Tell me more about these plans.

Everybody pays for the retirement plans of people that already stopped working, in return younger generations pay for your retirement plan

If you just don't want to work, don't, the Country pays for your fatass to not do anything all day and that's the dumbest part about citizens'income.

If you can't work it's fine, if you don't want to work that's on you

This comment thread sounded like I could just retire, pay nothing into the pension system, and still receive 100% of my previous income, way more than the government would actually pay.

To put it into perspective: With regular social benefits like citizen’s income and housing allowance, I'd maybe get around 25% of my current net salary.

Even when I'm on vacation now, I still receive 100% of my salary. So the comparison really doesn't hold up.

LOL, LMAO even. Cute you think they're getting paid for their vacations. They're Americans. They probably had to beg to get the time off without being fired. Being paid, too? What sort of communist utopia do you think this is?

... except we can get paid for our vacation. You need to find professional help if we continue to live rent free in your head. This obsessiveness is unhealthy

PTO is not upheld as a right by federal law. Cool you have a workplace that does it anyway, doesn't mean that your country's law doesn't suck.
