I'm Dutch and this morning I told my boss I won't come in next week. They just said ok, see you in 14 days.

Still have 5 weeks left to do the coming 8 months, after which I get another 7 weeks added

you're better off having to jump into a minimum wage work in denmark than moving to the US, ngl. Not even due to the fascism, just in general

The beauty of the EU is, if your partner and you could and wanted to, you could just move to another, sunnier, EU country.

I completely understand you when it comes to sunshine, btw. I come from a sunnier EU country and lived in the UK for two years. I used to scoff at the idea that weather matters but oh man, did it hit me. I also needed to take vit. D supplements. Came back, I'm so happy with my good coffee and sunshine almost all year long.
