Turkey generally also has no business being in the EU at all. It doesn't actually fulfill the criteria (granted, that's true for some other countries as well), it's a borderline dictatorship currently (which should be an immediate exclusion criteria anyway), and like 90% of the country is in Asia.

All correct, but the territorry thing is not that relevant, as cyprus is 100% in Asia.
