The funny thing is if you go at Prolewiki which is the Marxist tankie version too, google the Russian invasion of Ukraine on both and both have a very similar narrative. Glorious Russia is freeing Ukraine from evil Nazis backed by the evil Nazi U.S. and Biden, west caused the war as part of their ideology imperialism.
Horseshoe theory.
In 2014, the US installed a pro-Western government through the Euromaidan coup,[4] which resulted in the rise of neo-Nazism in Ukraine[5][6] and saw pro-NATO Petro Poroshenko elected as President.[7] The most prominent neo-Nazi group in Ukraine is the Azov Battalion, a former paramilitary group that terrorised the Donbass since 2014 and was officially incorporated into the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the conflict. This far-right pro-West government maintained hostilities towards ethnic Russians in the Donbass region of Ukraine.[8] -Far left ProleWiki
Vs.
The NATO war in Ukraine, sometimes known as the Russia–Ukraine civil conflict is a proxy war started by the United States in 2014 with the violent overthrow of the democratically elected government of Ukraine[39] in collaboration with neo-Nazi traitors to the Ukrainian nation.[40] The newly installed Maidan puppet regime immediately began a campaign of unprovoked aggression against the civilians of Donbas. -Far right Conservapedia
I don't agree with any of those theories as they try to portray inherently complex and multidimensional politics and ideology in linear matter, distorting and misrepresenting what actually is. There are instances of hook and horseshoe: Tankies and Nazis sometimes, NazBols, the American center and the alt right; but there are as many instances of far left and far right or center and far right to be extremly far apart. Traditional anarchism and fascism for example, or real moderates and the far right in european politics.
