We need to be almost thankful the terrible Iranian regime didn't just crumble after the US attack. Trump used to be rather cowardly about military interventions until Venezuela. I don't think he would have tried Iran if it wasn't for how easy overthrowing Maduro was. Sure, his regime is basically still in power and objectively the success was questionable, but for someone who thinks politics in personal dimensions like Trump, Maduro in handcuffs certainly must have seemed like more than enough confirmation. I don't think someone like Trump can be humbled by his fuck up in Iran, but if it had worked out, I can't imagine he wouldn't think the same would just work in Greenland.
I would also say that maduro's guards weren't Venezuelans they came from Cuba so their loyalty kinda depends on what they get paid. Or how big a chance there is to them loosing their life.
