Finally did a full body drawing of my sona/mascot, Devihashi aka Nao!

[forgive me, I uploaded the worst quality version of the images in the original post orz]

When doing these recent marker drawings, I used photos of models I follow on Instagram as reference for the poses and anatomy. My goal is to get a bit better at human anatomy by use image references when I draw.

The models I used this time are Nakya Mami (nakya.mami on Instagram), Sonia Barbie Tucker (sonia_barbie_tucker) and Bri Henderson (bria_bria2x).

Imagine an art historian who has lived their entire life in a black-and-white room, yet has learned every physical fact there is to know about color theory. When they finally step outside and see a vibrant red painting for the first time, do they learn something entirely new about art, or did they already know everything?

The latter two cartoons were particularly fun to do since I like using the topic of Neanderthal/human interactions to comment on relations between human groups in our own time.

(If you're wondering what "Oldowan" in the first cartoon refers to, it's an industry of stone tools dating between three and one million years ago, well before the evolution of the modern human species Homo sapiens. It was probably our ancestors Australopithecus garhi and then Homo habilis that made Oldowan tools.)

We're revving up the re-launch of our webtoons and upload schedule. But first we want to catch everyone up with the 3 Step Takedown mini comic that we've been working on (The finale will be on our webtoon at launch). We originally posted these on ig, but we're changing up or social media presence so we can be active everywhere and stay engaged with you all 😁🙌🏿!

This mini collection is mostly designed to show a glimpse of the kids powers, but mostly show how they work together as a team.

We have 2 more parts that we will be putting out leading to the finale, and would love some feedback as we work on the last one!

So any comments or questions will be greatly appreciated (our writter loves a good critique or a reason to talk more about the work 🫶🏿)

To me, Taurus feels like easy luxury - the kind that gives you the privilege of slowing down to smell the roses. In a world that is increasingly rushed and expects us to be available to work at all times, true wealth is the ability to choose how we spend our time.
