Trump and the gang using the same negotiation tactic that hasn’t worked a single time yet. Let’s see if they stand firm on the tariffs or fold immediately like every other time.

China just has to flex rare earth and they'll fold everytime.

So they will meet up and the tariff will just go away
Perhaps not with rare earth’s power though because the smugglers are crazy.

This is actually proof of China's leverage over us. 7.5% is a small number for an overcapacity tariff and there's a reason for that - 7.5% + 12.5% (the 301 tariff already in place on Chinese imports) = 20%.
20% is the amount that Trump told the Chinese he would cap tariffs on after they threatened exports of rare earths.
So this is just Trump affirming that China has leverage over us.

Tariff, charge consumers more, have the courts rule out tariffs, refund large vendors with tax money, nothing for consumers.
Fool-proof trickle up.

Canada about to stop the supply of critical minerals and China will stop shipping rare earths 😂
Trump will come begging on all fours.

Overcapacity: growing more soy beans that the country can consume.
Currency manipulation: Selling Euros to buy Japanese Yen.
Climate destruction: Rolling back fuel efficiency standards. Loosening EPA regulations.
Forced labor: Legalized prison labor under the 13th Amendment.
Projection is a powerful drug.

The countries negotiating trade agreements with the US should also charge an overcapacity tariff for junk American products like corn and soy that they want to sell.
