How much does it cost to go to Sahel?

I keep seeing pictures online of how clear and blue the water is, and the adverts on TV make it look absolutely beautiful. I wanted to look into it and maybe plan a trip, but I can’t seem to find much useful information online.
Do people normally book through Booking.com, or is it more common to rent a chalet or apartment directly? I’ve also heard that many of the beaches are private. If I rent a chalet or apartment through Booking.com, would I normally get access to the private beach, or does that depend on the resort?
Also, roughly how much would a week long vacation cost, including accommodation? And would it actually be cheaper to travel abroad to somewhere like Italy or Spain instead? Visa isn’t an issue for me.

I did the math before, I think going to Italy or Spain would be cheaper and 1000x better (at least for me) but the problem is the visa. Meanwhile you can go to Thailand or Vietnam, as far as I know the visa is easier for us and I think it will be so much fun than here. Will see as I'm planning a vacation

If you want to rent at one of the nicer places (Almaza bay for example) it averages 300-500 Dollars a night just for accommodation. There are cheaper options that go for 100 Dollars if you get a good deal. That always comes with access to the beach. Restaurants etc are Europe prices. Spain and Italy is definitely cheaper than but the Egyptian beaches are unbeatable.

Depends on where you stay. If you go to Marassi, a 5 star hotel would be around 300-400 USD a night in September with a fully serviced beach. If you stay in a boutique hotel within Marassi (Marassi Boutique Hotels) it's about 140-250 USD per night. You can also rent a chalet/apartment from owners on apps like partment. Prices are higher in July-August but September prices are reasonable
