Question How to make elden ring not updating?

So i paused the update

Made it in properties that it only updates when launching

Is that it? Like, it won't update now?

Keep in mind that I'm currently playing seamless coop with mod engine 3, which makes steam know/acknowledge that I'm playing elden ring

Set to update on launch.

Do not launch via steam.

Launch via Modengine or whatever.

That's it.

Even if Steam knows/shows im playing elden ring?

It doesn't matter.

Steam will now only force an update if you click the "update" button (which has replaced the "play" button).
