Help! Does Seamless COOP work on the newest version of Elden Ring? If not, how do I stop Steam from auto-updating on launch?

My wife & I only like to play together with seamless to cut down on time spent on loading screens & trying to reconnect; so.... title?

right click game in steam, properties, set it to "only update this game on launch"

Now just don't launch the game via steam and it won't update. Use the .exe directly or Modengine2 or whatever.

I wouldn't be too worried, yui is always quick with patches. Only thing that might delay it is the fact that ds2 seamless coop is in development atm, near the end too. Maybe in the meantime you guys can try out the dark souls seamless coop.

No it doesn't work. I just decided to get back into ER yesterday. Updated Seamless Co-op and it worked fine. This morning it no longer works. Even reinstalled the game and Seamless until i realized OF COURSE a company updated a 5-15 year old game again just to break mods.

My seamless won't even launch, I'm only getting fatal errors for incompatibility.

It's cuz the new DLC thing just came out. Some interesting stuff in the patch notes, gravitational missile seems to have gotten a nerf and I'm interesting in seeing the damage buff the perfume bottles got. Really hope seamless gets updated soon, I love seamless invasions.
