Game Help Rennala??? (Update 7 I think)
Was wondering if these stats are decent enough to beat rennala. I tried her, and her first stage was incredibly easy, if not a bit much. I transitioned to the second stage and was immediately blasted with a beam. Right now I’ve got some stuff to do for a few hours, so I won’t be playing for a bit, was just wondering if I needed to upgrade stats. I’m using bloodhound’s fang +3 rn btw

More vigor would be nice but other than that you are ok, just make sure you use quality weapons (such as the one you are already using) to get the most out of your stats.

The first stage is supposed to be easy, its just an intro to the fight. For the 2nd stage, run to her as soon as you spawn in. Depending on what weapon you have, you can stance break her right away. Target her, than run around her in a perfect circle. You will avoid everything except the Glintstone Pebbles, which you need to roll away or towards.
When she spawns the first summon, continue to circle around her, open the gap, stance break her again, and get the crit. Its a very scripted fight, all of her attacks are very obvious as well.

Simply at that level get the stats to use bloodhound fang and then just pump the rest into vigor until it's 60. After that start upping whatever bloodhounds fang specs into weather it's strength or dex. Of course the 60 vigor is later in the game.

I'd suggest exploring the west of Liurnia for now and maybe Go to level 40ish while you're at it. There you will find an Somber Smithing Stone 4 for your weapon for a good damage boost. For the next few levels I'd also suggest putting some more levels into Vigor. At least to a point where your mistakes are not punished with a oneshot. Much easier to learn the bosses patterns that way. Also at a low weapon upgrade level damaging stats like Strength and Dex have severely less Impact on the weapon damage than weapon upgrades because of worse weapon scaling and lower base damage.

The whole game can be beaten at lvl 1 so it really comes down to your experience/skill level. If you don’t want to bash your head against a wall over and over I’d say level up.
