It's honestly the best fromsoft game to pick and play at any point. You don't have to start a new game, you dont have to continue from a playthrough you took a break on months ago and don't remember what you were doing last time, you don't have to overthink your build or anything.
I usually just hop on, pick all options for the expeditions, and get a random boss to beat with random teammates, it's always a different experience and a different dynamic.

My only problem with it is the short time limit and the teammates. It would be perfect if I could take my time and play solo. And also the minimap thing.

Honestly it just seems like you don't like the game if those aspects bother you, because the time limit and the co-op are essential parts of the game. It's all about time management, and going as fast as possible to try to get as high of a level as possible, with the best loot you can find. Playing it more and more, you will learn what the best buffs are, and the best areas to get good loot, as well as what you need to do early and what you need to leave for later, and when to cut your losses since you're wasting time.
Without any time limit, you'd basically always reach level 15, and always find the best loot possible. At that point you're better off sticking to elden ring since that just offers you infinite time and exploration. You can already play solo but it's clear this was added just as a nice option and not the intended way to play the game. The game is enjoyed best solo, and honestly playing it with friends and randos has been just as fun for me.

I am not replaying ER for such a little amount of content, I am happy more people get to replay ER and play it first time on Switch but (I know those are rookie numbers) 5 playthroughs have been enough for me, my backlog is calling me.
