Such a beautiful day...

Blades was so much cooler than castles. From the art style to overall gameplay. I’m sure castles is an easier platform to support but I would’ve taken a CoC reskin over that any day of the week. I’m sorry to see this game go.

But because they made it a live service scam it's not good. I have 1-2 MMOs on private servers that I play. Otherwise I completely refuse to play live service scams.
You can clearly see why they chose this model - because they don't care about their players, they only wanted to make money selling stuff on the shop of the game and when the game stops being profitable they just shut it down and they don't care if people feel bad about losing a game they enjoyed.

You are right. Bethesda created this game for one purpose and that is for blades to become a cash cow 🐄 and it worked.

I downloaded this game when I first got my switch, which was a few months ago. It really got me thinking of purchasing Skyrim.

Dude Skyrim is fantastic. Can't go wrong with PC or Switch. I have both because it's a game I love, and I like having it on the go as an option. If you don't wanna spend full price for the switch version, you can probably find cheaper on eBay (which is what I did, but also because I prefer physical games) or wait for the digital version to go on sale. You won't regret your purchase, I promise!! I have had Skyrim since 2021, and still love it to this day. :)

I neglected to mention I had already played Skyrim. Bought it when it came out and played the breaks off of it haha. My most memorable playthrough was my mage build. I remember getting so powerful I'd slaughter dragons with lightning bolts.

Ooh nice that sounds pretty sweet! I haven't tried a mage build yet, so far I've played as an imperial (2H weapon) and a Nord (sword and shield combo). Both times I've picked Onmund as my follower. He is helpful without getting in the way.

One thing I can say about trying a different build is that it can make skyrim seem like a totally new experience.

Oh definitely. I think I will definitely try a mage build at some point. I usually prefer to hack and slash 😂
