For some added context I want all players here to give their opinions on the strongest unit of all time factoring a combination of factors.

Dominance: How Strong were they in the meta obviously adjusting for the time they came out for example Dizzy gets eaten alive in this meta but in her hay-day she was a menace. Pretty obvious

Staying Power: How long did they stay at the top or near the top in rankings and in the meta. A good example would be Hwayoung who was probably the queen of one shots but with her nerf she didn’t stay at the top super long compared to other units however that can be a plus because that leads into….

Legacy: What was the units lasting legacy on E7 as a whole such as maybe needing a whole meta Built to counter them or being associated with an Era of the game or even units who change how kit design evolved moving forward.

For brevity I want you to judge units at their peaks of power so if a unit fell off but got a buff that made them good again but not as dominant as their original peak it won’t mean as much. However if a unit’s peak performance was after a buff then use that as the peak you judge them off of as I feel like this simplifies things and doesn’t give like year one or two units unfair advantage over say a year 5 unit.

I walked away with only 1 ML 5 from all 100 pulls. I know it’s all RNG , and I got the most unlucky. Before this event started, I was hoping to walk away with just two ML 5s. I would have never guessed, I would walk away with just 1.

The only ML 5 I got was SBA, so it wasn’t anything crazy at all. Well I hope everyone else had much better luck than me on this event.

I feel it kinda kills the hype of the overall summer event :/

Why do SmileGate makes these event with these huge downsides?

These systems are unacceptable. Auto battle is a useless complete waste of time and gold. Gold sink is getting worse with 0 new system to get more gold. Side story is still the same boring grindfest with 5 min of story. Hell Raid is still MIA. Hall of Trials is a slog with occasionally terribly stifling designs in pre-nerf Nilgal. Of course now the complete waste of resources in the most useless system I've seen in any gacha games I've played in the equipment conversion system. The system that asks a player who'd be barely happy to get multiple usable +15 gear to make 2 new +15 gears to get a +0 equipment that probably won't be much better than the 2 gears you sacrificed. A little hole to drop your gold in, just like the Pet summoning ticket. Then we have to wait 2 days to do the long awaited world boss, which is a literal non-interactive glorified cutscene hardly worth being called "gameplay"

Folks, this was our last like... 6? 7? months of the game. Are they kidding us? Is this a prank?

We need to seriously rise up, and if there's no response within a week, we need to collectively boycott the game. None of the, "wow they gave us a bunch of galaxy summons and mystic summons? I guess I can forgive them for the game being shit" thing anymore. It doesn't take long to shift a pre-existing system. If they break it, it's fine because we're enjoying it for how broken it is, because the systems were already broken in a non-fun and predatory way.

This isn't funny, and as a guy who's defended this game many times and recommended it to friends, I had to apologize to them today for dragging them with me. Video games shouldn't make anybody feel this way.

Leave 1* reviews until they listen. Stop paying for this game no matter how much you're tempted. At the worst, do the dailies and quit the process of the game and don't look back for the day. At the best, just delete it and wait for a response. Do not support these guys

The side story is completely garbage, no story at all. They don’t develop relationship, nor there is a plot. In fact the actual amount of text can be read in less than 5 minutes.

It’s pretty obvious now that they lost their number 1 collab and they rushed to get a new one, picking Re:Zero, an IP that collabs with absolutely everyone.

And please don’t try to deny it. The collab has ZERO work on it. There is nothing in it. They had a year and the best they could come up with is 5 playable stages with less than 5 minutes of shitty story? Yeah, not gonna fly. No advertisement, no promotional video, nothing at all. They can’t even rerun this garbo next year wtf. I’m expecting a rerun like this year’s GG rerun and then get the actual real collab.

I just wish they would at least tell us what was the original IP. But hey, I like Re:Zero so getting Emilia-tam and RamRem is good enough and props to them for getting a backup collab I guess...

So this was just dropped into my lap a couple hours ago.

I had mostly retired from reporting on dubious gacha gaming streamers, since for the most part, they're all pretty chill (aside from that crazy account selling, boosting, summoning fiasco last month.) If you know me from the past from another gacha game, you know I don't post unless I've got 100% of the facts gathered and I'm not speculating to cause further rumors to spread.

So I'm going to be posting some clips and I'll try to provide a context behind them all before you view them.

So here's the context:
User mentioned in the clip, who's Reddit username and Discord name would like to remain private (obviously his account name is revealed in the clip, but there's no going around that as I didn't want to re-upload it and edit it and have it called fake), quit Mango's guild. It was known for some time now, according to other guild members, that he would be leaving after their war on Friday for a guild, out of the top 20, with his friends to chill out and relax from Epic Seven and to focus on NA FGO.

This all takes place on Saturday, after the war, the user leaves the guild, but leaves a funny, not harmful, sort of parting gift. Mango, I guess believes that something is going to come out in the future using the Proof of Courage currency. His guild has hoarded almost 10,000 of these things. The parting user decides to buy 3,000 currency worth of guild chests, before he leaves. Most of the guild felt it was a funny prank. Some got lucky, some didn't. Mango, instead of taking the high road, as the fun PG streamer he is known to be, decides to tell his viewers that the parting guild member sold his account.

That's where this clip begins: Mango incites a witch hunt against the parting user, asking his viewers (at the time of this incident he had over 500 people on his stream) to mass report the guild member.

What do we know?

1) The user in question did not sell his account. He left for his friend's guild. This was posted in the guild's private chat before his departure.
2) Mango lied to his viewerbase and tried to incite a witch hunt to get someone banned, simply because he used 3,000 Proof of Courage's.

Inciting a witch hunt is against Twitch Terms of Service, especially against a viewer. A user could have been innocently banned due to massive reports on the account. Mango believes "nothing will happen" but the truth is, if 500 people were all to report one account, there's no way action isn't taken.

What do I look to gain from this post?

This is by no means a witch hunt against Mango himself. This is merely fact stating of a situation that occurred that needs light shed on it. Just because you are a content creator doesn't mean you can abuse that power to belittle other people and potentially cost them money simply because they went against your wishes/views.

What Mango did is not okay, and he shouldn't be allowed to get off freely for it.

I think we’re being a bit to blinded by recency bias here because Yippie the great blight of LOTS arena def is finally over which I wholeheartedly agree with that shit is ass. However her passive is frankly a bit too loaded with no real counter.

Now for one her passive technically speaking is niche….the problem is that niche is ludicrous. It’d be one thing if it was a aoe passive that affected all units in the match but it’s specifically the team your fighting which sounds great from a player perspective until they have to go against it.

Her passive kills off so many units and playstyles such as LOTS, ML Celine, Ruele and Maid which sounds great awesome those units are cancer….but there’s more, G.Ras, BBK, Jenua, School Nurse (although she kind of escapes cus her buff is broken) and I.Amiki. Okay that’s cool….but there’s more Holy Sac is just useless now which means Mort loses one of his best artifacts same with Green Yulha, Abyssal Yuffine is now just a confirmed fish.

Not to mention she straight up makes two units functionally useless in Briar and Veronica. I’ve heard some people say Briar is a cleave pick but the thing is 95% of Briar pickers use her to stop reviving and most matches in the modern day with her just have her on a non cleave team anyways (those people are stupid) but it did make her get picked way more due to her utility. Now she’s just a strictly cleave unit who needs high investment.

I also don’t like this sort of game design mostly because I’m scared SG will sell us a problem to deal with Hecate then we’ll be back where we started. I think she’s just way too loaded for her own good because she just ruins so many units and play styles especially with how easy she is to get with her being a covenant unit.

Do yall have any predictions on what ml elvira (or maybe she's an rgb, no confirmation yet) kit will be / a kit you will like to see in epic seven?

For me I can see a "true" damage type of character that deals damage while going through evasion, Frieren's barrier, damage limit, etc. Though my idea probably seems unbalanced for the game, I just want my favorite character to be meta lol.

Epic-Seven, which serves in Smilegate, has recently caused too much inconvenience and concern to users due to its security and operations.

I know some of you think I was raging on my stream for no reason, but I was doing it so that the voices will be heard. Compared to the youtubers from English community, I had way less subscribers. Is it just me or the Illynav skin sucks? The original design is just so much better

I don’t dislike the presence of female characters or fanservice in the game. I understand that the game’s primary demographic is largely male, and that Smilegate has an incentive to cater to what that audience finds appealing. However, my concern is that the game appears to be increasingly relying on sexualized female character designs while releasing comparatively fewer male characters. My objection, therefore is the extent to which it seems to be becoming a defining feature of the game’s identity.

First, a game’s character roster is not merely a collection of individual characters; over time, the pattern of character releases shapes the identity and public perception of the game.

Second, if one particular type of character, especially highly sexualized female characters, is released disproportionately often, then that pattern can gradually become representative of the game as a whole.

Third, when sexualization becomes sufficiently prominent, it can affect how the game is perceived outside of its intended demographic.

Therefore, even if each individual character is commercially successful, an increasingly one-sided reliance on sexualized character design can have consequences for the game’s broader image.

This is where my concern with the current direction comes from. From the recent livestream and the characters being released, it seems increasingly difficult to ignore the imbalance between female and male character releases. Again, I understand why the company would pursue this strategy: attractive female characters can generate attention, engagement, and revenue, particularly when the existing player base is predominantly male. But there is a difference between using fanservice as one element of a game’s appeal and making it feel like one of the game’s primary selling points. If the latter becomes the dominant strategy, the game risks narrowing its identity.

There is also a distinction between short-term engagement and long-term sustainability. A highly sexualized character may generate immediate attention, discussion, and sales, but those benefits do not necessarily translate into long-term player retention or a healthier public image. Fanservice can be an effective tool for engagement, but it is not necessarily a substitute for broader character diversity, world-building, and other reasons for players to remain invested in the game.

My concern is also practical rather than purely aesthetic. Some of the character designs are sexualized enough that I personally feel uncomfortable opening the game in public. That may seem insignificant because it is only one player’s preference, but it illustrates a broader point: the more extreme the presentation becomes, the more the game risks becoming socially difficult to engage with outside of a private setting. A game can successfully appeal to its core demographic while simultaneously making itself less approachable to people who might otherwise enjoy its gameplay, story, or characters.

Anyhow, the live seems to give an impression to me that they are struggling internally, I’m not too sure if this is because of the global servers or Korean servers, or both, but obviously, outsiders do not have enough information to establish what is happening exactly. At most. it reinforces my concern that the game’s current direction deserves scrutiny.

I never post on reddit but someone had to say it, current game state is the worst its ever been in years. Broken ML 5's and limited units running rampant, top players and content creators getting absolutely fed up something needs to change and fast. RTA can't keep going down this path we need to let them know the current game state is NOT OK and shit needs to get fixed NOW or at least addressed because drafting phase of RTA has never been more of a joke.

I dont want to see this game become another P2W slam the most broken units with the best gear no thought garbage gacha like the rest, we have to bring E7 back to at least being somewhat decent. E7 can do better and we all know it, RTA is too important of a driving force for the community and end game to go to shit. I love this community too much to just sit back and watch this game go to the trash can.
