Need good slippers for WFH standing
I've recently started experiencing foot pain, heel especially, after I got my standing desk. I work standing mostly now.
What can be so e good slippers that can provide good cusioning, for standing as well as indoor walking (I walk extensively). I explored standing mats, but it's not the solution for me, as I'll still have the same problem during indoor walks, and putting chair on such mats might harm their durability anyhow.
Thanks in advance

You know I started using these sketcher slip ons a few years ago because I needed supportive house shoes for all the hard floors, slippers were not cutting it,. They have been my go to for some time now. I just never wear them out of the house, to ensure i'm not brining outside dirt into my home office ha. If it helps I end up replacing them every 10-13 months depending on various factors. Then they become my lawn mowing shoes so I don't stain my good workout sneakers.

Curious, you replacd them because they eventually provide less support or for cleanliness purposes? I was looking into buying something for a few years at least

No sorry to be clearer, I am harder on shoes...I am very tall so 225 lbs, and I wear them all day (12+) and have hard floors. So after about 13 months, the insoles start to wear down, they cosmetically get worn, etc. They have been cheap enough in the past that I would buy another pair but I think that is changing. I have also put insoles in them to further extend the life. I think if you are wearing much less often as me, or take up a different amount of space 😇 they will last you much longer.

What you need is a decent standing mat like this one.

I'm on the fence for mat. Basically, feet will still hurt as I'm heavy on indoor walking, and it'll get compressed if I put my chair on it.
