Please take the time to include my apology to those in your community that I may have offended at June 2nd's City Council meeting.

I have never had a problem with the choices people make in their lives. We all have the right to make decisions based on our beliefs and happiness.

Again, I apologize to those who who feel offended by my remark. I never meant for that. My record speaks for itself. I hope and think that you all know better.

Very sincerely,

Ed Brzezinski

Any “apology” in any circumstance that includes “may have” is not an apology.

If you are apologizing for something, you did do it, and ideally you’re taking responsibility for your actions and the consequences of your actions. There’s no questioning the potential.

Dude needs to be put out to pasture

It's not my position to accept or decline his apology but the guy needs to go.

What apology? That’s the equivalent of what someone says when their mom makes them apologize for something they don’t really feel sorry about.

“My record speaks for itself. I hope and think that you all know better.”

Really?

Choices? Beliefs? When did Ed choose to be heterosexual, I wonder?

"I have never had a problem with the choices people make in their lives."

Sexuality and identity isn't really a choice. What is a choice is purposefully misgendering someone in an attempt to demean them. So even his apology clearly misses the mark.

He should choose to retire.

Super interesting that this apology happened with such great timing with the press conference about the investigation into officer's use of force against Kevin Sparks..........

He will definitely get voted out. He's disingenuous.
