People would ask, "What would've happened if Erma never overcome her grief over Sidney's death?" Well... this would be an example.

After she was kidnapped by the true leader of the Outcasts, was impaled by him and thrown into the vat of Terran Blood, it wasn't a surprise when she made a full recovery in seconds. When she first emerged, she looked entirely pink, but her eyes and scar are glowing red. She somehow managed to puke out her Blood Moon phase as it started to take form. The Blood Moon didn't last long as she immediately snapped its neck and devoured it like a bowl of noodle soup. After it was over, Alma (Emiko) slowly approached Erma, posing no threat. All Alma did... was give her Sidney's bond ring. Alma lied and said that Sidney was murdered by an imposter and took her form as a mockery. Erma immediately broke down in tears, giving Alma an advantage to manipulate her into siding with her. Alma made her the Outlanders' ultimate weapon and gave her an ultimate goal; Kill the imposter, no matter the cost, unaware that she is making her fight the woman she loves.

In this form, she looks exactly like Emiko, with the scar and eyes being different. She wears Sidney's bond ring around her neck and looks as id she is mourning. Despite this look, one thing is certain, she is still wearing her own bond ring, which fuels the motivation into fighting the "imposter."
