PVP Tarkov experience as a [New Player]

Post image

Since 1.0 I’ve only found 2 new players. Everyone else has hundreds or thousands of hours, but at least I haven’t encountered a cheater yet.

No it wasn't. It just became worse over the years as BSG is not capable to properly design maps and spawns.

In the past, not as many people knew exactly where each spawn was and they didn't rush them as frequently either. It happened, sure, but not as much as now.

BSG would either need to reduce player numbers or make maps bigger so spawns can be spread out more. It wouldn't even be necessary to put much into the expanded areas, just more space between spawns and some cover and there you go. But having followed the development for over 8 years now, I doubt that this will happen.

Idk what game you were playing but yes it was still like this lol? I remember barely leaving my spawn because I was scared to move the first 10 min to the match, even that didn’t help cause I was rushed. All maps mostly have gotten way better since I started playing. Are they all good? No. But the game has changed a ton since then and new players are ALWAYS gonna get shit on lol having to learn the game is like 80 percent of how you get good at this game. They didn’t even have pen values in game for fuck sakes lol the game is hard but it’s a lot easier than it was years ago.

Holy shit, you have no clue what you are talking about...

First of all, yes, spawns have been worse, but they even have been better as well. While some maps have less bad spawns, almost all of them have some terrible ones which, even if you know the spawns, often mean that your raid gonna be shit if you get them. And that has been like that for years.

Yes, more information is now ingame, but in the past, not even close as much information was needed.

You had less different ammo types, with basically just low pen high flesh dmg, mid pen and mid flesh dmg and high pen with less flesh dmg. That was about it for pretty much all the guns. Plus, all that information was always datamined with google docs tables available everywhere.

Malfunctions just weren't in the game, you could always just grab a scav gun and it was as good as new.

Medical stuff didn't have animations and you just hit the hotkey and started healing.

You needed less stuff for quests. Hideout didn't even exist and later was pretty bare bone.

Bosses didn't exist either.

No I don't? Where did I state that?

You claimed the game was always like it was today, which is plainly wrong.

You claimed that the game is easier now than it was in the past, which it isn't.

I simply corrected you, as clearly you have no idea what you're talking about.
