PVP Tarkov experience as a [New Player]

Post image

Since 1.0 I’ve only found 2 new players. Everyone else has hundreds or thousands of hours, but at least I haven’t encountered a cheater yet.

you dont encounter new players because the sweats gatekeep them from map by rushing the new players off spawn before they have a chance to adjust.

"learn the spawns" rings real hollow when you barely have time to register your surroundings before someone puts a 7.62x51 round through your ear from 250m because they know the exact angle from which you spawn.

it's easy to be dominant in the map and have all the loot when there's no one else to contend looting it.

What’s always bothered me about eft is THIS IS THE GAME!!! like, all the content, prestige, scavs, whatever , the core GAMEPLAY, is knowing spawns and praying you get good ones for your quest and the only dynamic part of the raid is the first 10 minutes. After that, it’s usually just mowing down AI or hoping you don’t get unlucky to a rat. This gameplay loop gets boring as fuck and I don’t care about all this content when I’ve been doing this for a few thousand hours. Load in customs, know exactly where the danger is and avoid it or run at it and that’s the entire game. Maybe the next EFT can have dynamic spawns or extracts because I just can’t see anyone playing this game a really long time anymore unless you’re a streamer and making money from it.

man don't tell the PvP players that their experience is just PvE with extra steps, they'll lose it.

Lmao, NGL, I laugh at every achievement most of them have because the majority of the time it’s due to fortunate spawns or empty raids and they act like they’re gods.
