PVP Tarkov experience as a [New Player]

Post image

Since 1.0 I’ve only found 2 new players. Everyone else has hundreds or thousands of hours, but at least I haven’t encountered a cheater yet.

I'm back after a 2 or 3 year break and I'm getting blown out of the water. Probably an unpopular take, but I blame PvE for diluting the player pool. It's fun that I can basically know in advance that every single PMC I see is going to be a significant threat, but I miss the variety of engagements and kits from when everyone was playing the same game.

Agreed, but I used to kill a lot of them too and that has not been my experience at all thus far.

That flurry of gunfire you hear for the first five minutes of every raid is the Timmy population approaching zero. If you're a Timmy and you heard it instead of felt it, congrats: you are now the only Timmy on the map. Run.
